Assistant Project Manager

Summary:

IITB (Indian Institute of Technology Bombay) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Project Manager for the project "Development of smart drone ecosystem and demonstration of social applications towards larger drone deployment strategy of Maharashtra." This is a temporary position for a period of 1 year, with the possibility of annual renewal based on performance. The project aims to develop and demonstrate a part of the drone ecosystem for societal applications in rural areas, aligning with Maharashtra's drone deployment strategy.

Eligibility/Qualification:

• MTech/ME/MDes or equivalent degree OR BTech/BE/MA/MSc/MCA/MBA or equivalent degree with 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience in liaising with industry and external agencies
• Experience in handling recruitment-related and HR activities under a project
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Initiative and ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Job Description:

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Liaising with industry and external agencies
• Handling recruitment and HR-related activities
• Preparation of reports, minutes of meetings, presentations, etc.
• Coordination with internal stakeholders, such as IRCC, technical staff, team leads, accounts, and admin staff
• Managing events or workshops for the project
• Logistics management, including consignments and virtual communication support
• Publicity and marketing activities for the project, including website maintenance
• Travel within India for product demonstrations and meetings as required
• Facilitating MoUs, NDAs, technology transfers, and industry collaborations
• Any other work assigned as per project requirements

Pay Details:

• Level PR-O1: Salary range from Rs. 33,600 to Rs. 67,200 + Rs. 6,250.00/- Out Of Campus Allowance (if applicable) per month

General Information:

• The position is temporary for 1 year, with the possibility of annual renewal based on performance.
• The appointment is project-based, and the candidate will be required to work towards the successful completion of the project.
• The selection committee may offer a lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary based on the candidate's experience and performance in the interview.
