Summary:
Applications are invited for the positions of Project Associates in various research projects at CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute, Hyderabad. The positions are temporary and co-terminus with the respective projects. Walk-in-interviews will be conducted for the selection of candidates.

Research Area and Project Details:
- Post Code A: Seismic data processing and programming knowledge
- Post Code B: Geophysical data processing and groundwater modeling
- Post Code C: Geological field work, sample analysis, GIS, and mapping techniques

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Post Code A: M.Sc. / M.Sc.(Tech.) / M.Tech in Geophysics / Applied Geophysics / Exploration Geophysics / Earth Science
- Post Code B: M.Sc. in Geophysics / Applied Geophysics
- Post Code C: M.Sc. in Geology / Hydrology / Geophysics
Job Description:
The selected candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Post Code A: Implementing seismic inversion methods as a package and developing necessary routines.
- Post Code B: Processing geophysical data and groundwater modeling.
- Post Code C: Conducting geological field work, sample analysis, and utilizing GIS and mapping techniques.
Emoluments (Monthly):
- Project Associate-I: Rs. 25,000/- (*Rs. 31,000/- for CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualified candidates)
- Project Associate-II: Rs. 28,000/- (#Rs. 35,000/- for CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualified candidates)

- Post Code B & C: 8th June 2023 at 09:00 AM (Reporting Time: 08:00 AM)
- Venue of Interview: CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute, Uppal Road, Hyderabad–500007.
- Candidates must bring original and photocopies of educational qualifications, age, caste (if applicable), experience, and a recent passport-size photo.
- If there is a high number of candidates, a shortlisting process may be conducted, such as a written test.
- False information provided will result in a ban from future recruitment processes in CSIR-NGRI.
- The number and levels of positions may vary depending on the selection process and project requirements.
- The engagement is for time-bound projects and does not entitle the incumbents to any claim on regular CSIR/NGRI positions.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the Walk-in-interview.
