Summary:

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the project position of Senior Research Fellow for the project titled "Immunometabolomics in the quest for comprehending Protection and Pathogenesis in Tuberculosis." Location:

Eligibility/Qualification:

• Post Graduate Degree in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized university.
• Minimum two years of research experience.

Job Description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Cell culture work
• Molecular biology work (real-time PCR, Western blot)
• Flow cytometry
• Metabolic studies and data analysis
• Traveling to the collaborating center (Vellore Institute of Technology, VIT) for project-related work as required

Consolidated Emoluments:

₹35,000 + 16% HRA per month fixed without any other allowances at present.

Desirable Qualification/Experience:

• National Eligibility Test (NET) qualification (including lectureship and GATE).
• Experience in manuscript writing.
• Good laboratory experience in cell culture, flow cytometry, and molecular biology techniques.

Tenure:

The initial contract will be until 19.02.2024, with the likelihood of extension based on performance and requirement.
