Job Title: Project Associate-I (R&D Project Staff)
Summary: CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) is seeking eligible and interested candidates for the position of Project Associate-I. The engagement will be through an online interview conducted via video conferencing on Microsoft Teams. The project focuses on the evaluation of electrolytic de-fluoridation plants installed for safe rural drinking water supply in fluoride-affected areas of Jharkhand State. The position is temporary and will be based in Nagpur.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Essential: M.Sc in Environmental Science
- Desirable: Work experience in water quality testing laboratory
Job Description:
- Collection and analysis of water samples
- Data interpretation, drafting scientific papers, and report preparation
- Field visits for water sample collection
- Assisting in research activities related to the evaluation of electrolytic de-fluoridation plants
Salary:
- Rs. 31,000/- + HRA per month for scholars selected through national eligibility tests (CSIR-UGC NET/GATE) or a selection process conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions.
- Rs. 25,000/- + HRA per month for candidates who do not fall under the above criteria.

Note:
- The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
