Job Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - Sponsored Project

Summary:

Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur is inviting applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a temporary capacity under a Sponsored Project. The position is initially for a period of 1 year, extendable based on performance and project duration. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of Dr. Harshit Agarwal, investigating Gate All Around Nanosheet Steep-Slope Transistors for Sub-2nm Technology Nodes. Eligibility/Qualification:

• Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in a Professional Course selected through National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC NET, GATE) or National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions (such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, etc.)
• Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of semiconductor devices/circuit design and programming, MTech in Microelectronics/VLSI/Relevant domain.
• Maximum Age: 35 years

Job Description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for investigating GAA Nanosheet NCFET using TCAD simulations and modeling. The project involves exploring the possibility of ferroelectric-based nanosheet transistors for logic applications, including numerical simulations and compact modeling.

Salary:

Consolidated Pay: Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA (As per funding agency norms)
