Title: Project Associate-I

Summary: CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar, is seeking applications for the post of Project Associate-I in the fields of Chemical and Civil Engineering for their project "Conversion of fouled end-of-life Reverse Osmosis and Ultrafiltration membranes into membranes for zero liquid discharge plants and resource recovery applications" funded by the Department of Science and Technology.

Subject Area: Chemical and Civil Engineering

Location: Bhavnagar, Gujarat

Eligibility/Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Civil engineering/technology from a recognized university or equivalent. Master’s degree/research experience/prior working experience in the allied area are desirable. Maximum age limit is 35 years as on the last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.

Job Description: The selected candidates will be required to work on laboratory and pilot-scale activities related to the project. The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, initially for one year extendable only up to the project tenure subject to performance.

Salary:

• Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for the scholars who are selected through (a) national eligibility tests CSIR-UGC NET including lecturership (Assistant professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
• Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for those who do not fall in (i) above.
