Summary: Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a SERB sponsored project titled "Pressure Assisted Flash Joining of Ceramics." The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project. Interested candidates meeting the eligibility criteria may apply before the last date mentioned below.

Location: Department of Ceramic Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Essential Qualification: M. Tech./M.Sc. in Materials Science/Ceramics/Metallurgy/Materials Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Physics/Chemistry or any related field with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
  • Desirable Qualification: NET/GATE qualified, experience in processing and densification of ceramic materials, materials characterization such as XRD, SEM, etc.

Job Description: The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will work on the SERB sponsored project "Pressure Assisted Flash Joining of Ceramics." The responsibilities include conducting research activities in the field of ceramic engineering, particularly focusing on pressure-assisted flash joining of ceramics. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Stipend/Fellowship/Salary: Rs. 31,000.00 (Total) per month
