Summary: The Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Roorkee is looking for a Junior Research Fellow to work on a research project related to the thermal performance analysis of a liquid-cooled microfluidic thermal system.

Designation: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Research Area: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Heat Transfer, and Li-ion Batteries

Location: Department of Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee

Eligibility/Qualification: The candidate must have a UG (BE/BTech)/ PG (M.E/MTech) degree(s) in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering along with GATE (Chemical/ Mechanical Engineering) qualification. Desirable but not essential skills include CFD, C++/Python programming language.

Job Description: The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting research work in the areas of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Heat Transfer, and Li-ion Batteries using reliable CFD tools (OpenFOAM, COMSOL, etc).
