Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - DRDO Sponsored Project
Summary: Applications are invited for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position to work on a DRDO sponsored project entitled "Design and Computational Optimization of Group III-nitride High Power Laser Source". The selected candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Nikhil Deep Gupta, Assistant Professor at the Centre for VLSI and Nanotechnology, VNIT, Nagpur.

Location: Centre for VLSI and Nanotechnology, VNIT, Nagpur, Maharashtra
Eligibility/Qualification: The candidate should hold an M.Tech. degree in relevant areas such as Electronics/Photonics/VLSI Design etc. or M.Sc. degree in relevant areas such as Physics/Electronics/Photonics etc. with a minimum of First Class at the Master's level. A sound knowledge of Optoelectronics/Photonics/Nanofabrication Technologies is desirable. GATE/NET qualification in the relevant area is desirable.
Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- (Consolidated)
Duration of the Project: 2 years (maximum) or until tenure of the project (whichever is higher).
Mode of Selection: By Interview
Job Description: The candidate will work on the DRDO sponsored project entitled "Design and Computational Optimization of Group III-nitride High Power Laser Source". The position is entirely temporary in nature and will be terminated upon the completion of the project. The candidate selected for the position of JRF will have the option to register for a PhD program subjected to satisfying VNIT's norms for registration.
