Summary: Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee is seeking applications from eligible Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a research project under Prof. Ram Prakash Bharti. The project involves computational fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and lithium-ion batteries. The initial appointment will be for one year as JRF, and it is extendable to two years as Senior Research Fellow (SRF).

Eligibility/Qualification: Candidates must have a UG (BE/BTech)/ PG (M.E/MTech) degree(s) in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering and must have qualified GATE (Chemical/Mechanical Engineering). Desirable skills include CFD, C++/Python programming languages.

Job Description: The selected candidate will perform research work in the areas of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), heat transfer, and lithium-ion batteries using reliable CFD tools such as OpenFOAM, COMSOL, etc.
