Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in DST SERB funded project
Summary: The Department of Biophysics at Panjab University, Chandigarh, is inviting applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a DST SERB funded project titled “Ameliorating burn wound management with HNP-1 loaded mesoporous silica nanoparticles: A therapeutic approach”. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator Dr. Simrun Preet.

Location: Department of Biophysics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Applicants must have an M.Sc. degree in Biophysics/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks from a UGC recognized University.
- Candidates with UGC-NET/GATE/ICMR/Panjab University’s Ph.D. entrance test or any national level examination conducted by the Government of India will be given preference.
- Applicants with experience in molecular biology techniques, cell culture, and animal handling will be preferred.
Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/-p.m.+ 18% HRA
Job Description:
The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting research related to the DST SERB funded project titled “Ameliorating burn wound management with HNP-1 loaded mesoporous silica nanoparticles: A therapeutic approach”. The job responsibilities include conducting experiments, data analysis, preparing reports, and assisting the Principal Investigator in other project-related tasks.
