Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for Cancer Research Project
Summary: Applications are invited for the position of one JRF under a project that assesses the modulation of anticancer activity of standard cancer drugs by nutraceuticals and Unani drugs in colorectal cancer. The selected candidate will receive a fellowship for three years, and there is a provision for the candidate to register for a PhD degree.

Research Area: Cancer research, specifically the modulation of anticancer activity of standard cancer drugs by nutraceuticals and Unani drugs in colorectal cancer.
Location: Department of Biosciences, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India.
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Indian citizens with an M.Sc. in any area of Life Sciences/Pharmacy/Pharmacology/Medicine, including Unani/Indian systems of medicine with not less than 55% marks.
- Must have qualified UGC-CSIR JRF/NET/GATE/other equivalent national examination.
- Candidates having experience in the area of animal cell culture and molecular techniques shall be preferred.
Job Description: The selected JRF will work on a project assessing the modulation of anticancer activity of standard cancer drugs by nutraceuticals and Unani drugs in colorectal cancer. The fellowship will be for three years and co-terminus with the project. The selected candidate will receive the fellowship initially @31000-/+permissible HRA for the first two years and @35000-/+permissible HRA in the third year after promotion to SRF.
