- The candidate should have expertise in synthesizing solid heterogeneous catalysts, especially zeolites, mesoporous silica, metal oxides etc
- Having experience in handling and interpreting basic analytical techniques employed in catalysts characterization techniques such as XRD, surface area analysis, SEM, etc
- Good quality publications.
- Good communication and writing skills in English.
Ph.D. degree holders in Chemistry/Materials Science/Chemical Engineering are eligible to apply within five years after completion of their Ph.D.
The project involves the experimental studies of the spontaneous emission from nitrogen-vacancy centers (NV), modified using nanophotonics structures. We expect the postdoc to be the part of the team to build a state-of-the-art optical experiments to measure the emission in both frequency and time domain. The generation and characterization of single photon emission from NV centers and the manipulation of NV center spins at suitable conditions is also part of the project
Fellowship: 47000 (HRA @8% will be given if staying out of campus)
