RECRUITMENT FOR JRF TO WORK UNDER DST -TIDE FUNDED PROJECT


Applications are invited for the position of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for Department of Science and Technology – Technology Intervention for Disabled and  Elderly) Govt. of India sponsored research project titled “Breath Assist: A Continuous Positive Airway Pressure Mask” tenable at Department of Biomedical Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu – 603 203, India for 3 years.

Minimum qualification: M. Tech / M.E Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical Instrumentation/ Medical Electronics/ Embedded systems/Electronics and Instrumentation/Electronics and Communication Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA; GATE qualified candidates will be given preference. Candidates with good academic records, skills in prototype development are desirable.

Registration for Ph.D.: Selected candidates can register for the Ph.D. program at SRM Institute of Science and Technology.

Amount of fellowship: The selected candidate will receive a fixed fellowship of INR. 25,000 for three years.  Terms and conditions will be followed as per the DST guidelines.
