Summary:
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST-sponsored research project titled “Development of quantum dots-based UV Photodetectors”, sanctioned for a period of three years. This is a temporary position and will be co-terminus with the project.

Eligibility / Qualification:
Essential:
- M.Sc. in Physics with 55% marks or above
- Must have qualified NET or GATE
Desirable:
- Research experience in quantum dots-based photodetectors or related fields
Age Limit:
- 28 years (Relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/female/physically handicapped candidates as per GOI rules)
- Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates, all else being equal
Job Description:
- Carry out experimental research in the area of quantum dot-based UV photodetectors
- Synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials
- Data analysis and report writing under the supervision of the Principal Investigator
Salary:
- Fellowship of ₹37,000/- per month + HRA as per DST norms
