Call for Junior Research Fellow for a DST-SERB Project
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the following project sponsored by DST-SERB (core grant), under the supervision of Dr Nitin Kotkunde, Department of Mechanical Engineering, BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad campus. This project is about an invertigations on mechanical properties and formability behaviour of AZ31 alloy thin sheet for aerospace and automotive applications. The project involves mechanical testings, material characterization and formability studies of AZ31 alloy at elevated temperature conditions. It is also proposed to suggest best alternative ways like shear deformation techniques and heat treatment to enhance the mechanical properties and forming behaviour of AZ31 alloys. This work is highly relevant to aerospace and automotive applications.
Application procedure: Interested candidates with the above mentioned qualification can send the applications on a plain paper giving detailed information about the educational qualifications, research experience and published research papers if any, by 05-02-2021 (last date), to the Investigator, Dr. Nitin Kotkunde via email: email@example.com.
