Summary:
Applications are invited for the position of Project Associate - I (PA-I) to work on a research project titled "Materials and Catalytic Process for Fine and Specialty Chemicals from Marine and Biomass Resource" (MLP-0077) for a duration of one year. The selected candidate will work on the extraction and conversion of polysaccharides derived from marine resources using catalytic routes. This role involves catalyst synthesis, characterization, and process optimization for the production of high-value chemicals from marine polysaccharides.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Essential: M.Sc. in Chemistry.
- Desirable: Candidates with research experience in catalysis or inorganic/organic synthesis will be preferred.
Salary: The selected candidate will receive a monthly fellowship of Rs. 25,000 (consolidated).
Age: Maximum age limit is 35 years as of the last date of receipt of the application. Age relaxation is applicable as per Institute rules.
Duration of the Project: This position is purely temporary for one year, and it does not guarantee any right or claim for extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI.
