Applications are invited for the position of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF), to work in a SERB sponsored project at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. The position is temporary.
Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (01 post)
Duration: 6 months
Salary: Rs. 31,000/- per month
Eligibility: B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA in Computer Science with minimum 75% marks or equivalent. GATE qualification preferred. Students from other disciplines who are good C programmers may also apply.
Desired Skills: Preference will be given to candidates with good C/C++ programming skills and those who have experience in MPI programming (Message Passing Interface). Candidates are also expected to have familiarity with Linux, know basic shell programming (e.g. bash) and scripting (Python).

Include details about educational qualifications and experience in C/C++ coding, if any. The email should contain the subject: "Application for the post of JRF (SERB)". Applications that do not follow the above procedure will not be considered for interview.
Interview and selection:
- C programming test/interview of shortlisted candidates will be done online.
- Applicants who do not meet the minimum eligibility criteria will not be called for interview.
